And it's over.

The semester really did fly by, didn't it? For our final assignment, we were supposed to write the script of comic we wanted to make. Here's my pdf file.

Padlock Joint Proposal

Historical fiction is usually really fun, but if you're sticking strictly to the time period, it can get a little restricting. It was fun learning about the Prohibition Era though.

Peace out!

I Can't Believe I Missed It

I was actually really looking forward to working with the kids at the Brooch [Broach?] School. I wasn't able to go because of an appointment, but I did make a dome comic for the dome at the planetarium. The size of the targa is huge, so I made a png out of what the targa file looked like before viewing on the dome. It was fun making it, but at the same time, it was kind of mind boggling. I'm not even sure if it worked completely well. Either way, this story is kind of a loop about a cat that loses its lunch.

The comic when I worked on it in Photoshop

What it looked like Targa-fied

Phew.

Posting Everything in one post . . .

. . . can technically be a bad thing. Then it doesn't seem like you've done a lot or any work, which doesn't quite make sense. Either way, I have the final stuff to post. Ah, it's already the end of the semester.

This was a newspaper exercise we did in class. I was working alongside Karen for this one although we didn't get much story-wise. The newspapers I had were pretty boring. It was around Halloween though, because there was a picture of a cat dressed up as Pippi Longstocking. The poor thing looked hideous.

Newspaper Heroes

Onto the next post!

Relationship script . . . sort of?

My friend and I were thinking of eventually doing a comic based on these two characters of ours. Since this week's topic was relationships, I decided to try and show how the two characters would meet, their reactions, and a taste of what was to come. I don't think I did so well since it was rushed. I hope to revise this later on when we actually get around to doing the comic.

A Pirate and a Thief

I hope this is okay for now. Aaaaaaaagh.

SOL~!

I forgot to post my Slice of Life comic for some reason. My roommates and I are weird, but I changed the names in the script. We have no life D:

Coconut Tree

Hey all,

This is my family story script.
Coconut Tree

It was hard trying to figure out which story to do since my parents and family tell so many over and over again. This one always makes me laugh and wonder how badass my mom really was back then.

I'll be posting my slice of life script later since I didn't do that last week. Sorry about that!

Muffins

The dream script was hard to filter out. I remember a ton of my dreams from way back, including this one. For the past week, I've had at least three or four dreams I remember, but they're a little more personal than this one although they'd still make for an interesting story.

For now, I present to you Muffins: A Short Unfulfilled Dream! [drumroll]

A Prodigious Tramp

This is based off of Ambrose Bierce's "A Baby Tramp". I could only upload it on Mediafire, so please click the link and download it to view it. Sorry about this! If I find a correct way to export the script, I'll edit this post.
